Strategy as a journey of understanding, choice and organisational capability.
Start with the questions that matter
A useful strategy begins with a shared understanding of the business: what customers value, where the organisation performs well and what is changing around it. That understanding needs to be tested against evidence and different perspectives.
Make choices explicit
Priorities become meaningful when a leadership team agrees what it will pursue, what it will stop doing and where it will commit resources. Clear choices help people connect their day-to-day decisions to the direction of the business.
Build the capability to follow through
Strategy takes shape through execution. Responsibilities, operating routines and measures of progress should reinforce the same priorities. Regular review creates space to learn and adapt while retaining a clear sense of purpose.
